PASSCODES

What about my passcode for your keypad and gate system?
When you choose a passcode, please choose a 4 – 6 digit passcode. Numbers only and do not start your passcode with a zero.

How do I use my passcode?
Once you get to the facility, your code will only work by using the
STAR * key before the number and the HASHTAG # key after your number. If your passcode is “123456” then you will enter *123456# to activate your hall door or the gate.

How long does it take for my passcode to be activated?
Generally, about 15 – 30 minutes.

If I rent in Hallway One or Two, and it’s the door closest to the street, should I use the gate?
Yes – for your safety and in order for our software to work best, we require that even if you rent in Hallway 1 or 2 and use the front doors to access your unit, you will still have to activate the gate to let us know you’re on the property. You can still use the front doors after you open the gate. The gate closes automatically.

Can I use my own lock?
No – the admin fee includes a lock and our required insurance requires that you use our locks. No exceptions unless you already own a disc or cylinder lock.

How do I get my lock and key?
There are some extra steps to get your lock and key. If you’re renting online after business hours or the weekend, we will get notified that you’ve rented. We will either call or email you to give you a temporary Keypad code to access Hallway One.

This temporary code will expire within 24 – 48 hours. Once you’ve entered the hall, there will be a lockbox on the right. We will give you another temporary code to get into one of the boxes. You will find a lock with a key in it and another key on a ring.

Take your new lock and the extra key to your hallway. Find your unit and use the extra key on the ring to take the blue lock off your unit. Take the blue lock and key back to the indoor lockbox in Hallway One and put it back in the locker for us to retrieve when we are on site.

You are good to go! Thanks for renting with us!
